• Formic acid (85%) – 30.0%
• Ammonium formate – 25.0%
• Propionic acid (99%) – 12.0%
• Lactic acid (80%) – 5.0%
• Acetic acid (80%) – 10.0%
• Copper sulphate 5aq – 0.80%
• Zinc acetate dihydrate – 0.20%

Problem

Low quality drinking water results in reduced feed and water intake and has a negative effect on production figures. The reduced health status due to low quality drinking water results in higher toxins and pathogen levels in the animal, which is related to an increase in medication costs and a higher mortality rate. Pathogenic bacteria are inhibiting enzyme activity, reduce amino acid absorption by the animal and cause leakage of the intestinal wall, which results in diseases.

Solution

B-ACID Mineral application in drinking water results in a reduction of microbial contamination in the drinking water itself, as well as the gastro intestinal tract.
B-ACID Mineral is a highly concentrated Buffered Organic Acid mixture containing Lactic Acid (improves taste), Formic Acid and Propionic Acid. B-ACID Mineral improves water and feed intake. Copper (Cu) is a very strong antibacterial ion and active against formation of algae in drinking water pipelines whereas Zinc (Zn) increases enzyme activity. Both minerals improve bone and eggshell strength.

Administration

For the best results, the drinking water pH should be between 3.8 and 4.2 after addition of B-ACID Mineral. Depending on the water quality, a pH below 3.5 may affect the water intake, therefor the pH should be verified constantly, or on regular bases.

Storage

Close packaging firmly after use. Store in a cool, dry place protected from light.
