Problem
Low-quality drinking water reduces feed and water intake and negatively affects production performance. Poor water quality increases toxins and pathogen levels in animals, leading to higher medication costs and mortality rates. Pathogenic bacteria inhibit enzyme activity, reduce amino acid absorption, and damage the intestinal wall, resulting in disease.
Solution
B-ACID Butyric applied through drinking water reduces microbial contamination in both the water and the gastrointestinal tract. It is a highly concentrated buffered organic acid blend containing formic and propionic acids to improve water and feed intake. Copper (Cu), a strong antibacterial ion, helps prevent algae formation in drinking water pipelines, reducing the risk of infections and mortality. Butyric acid supports gut health, promotes epithelial cell development, stimulates gastrointestinal cell growth, and serves as a key nutrient for enterocytes.
Administration
For optimal results, drinking water pH should be maintained between 3.8 and 4.2 after adding B-ACID Butyric. Depending on water quality, pH levels below 3.5 may reduce water intake, so regular monitoring is recommended.
Storage
Close packaging tightly after use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
